East Manchester Galaxy do appreciate that these Joga shin pads are being worn in the Premier League and that the players will naturally want to wear the same shin pads as their favourite players however we need to keep the safety of the players as the highest priority.

EMJFL have also issued a statement outlining the safety issues that these shin pads present and as the game becomes more physical as you progress through the age groups these shin pads don't provide adequate protection.

As an Alternative we suggest the shin pad should cover the shin, where possible the shin pads should have some ankle protection too, ankle protection isn't mandatory however as a club we would definitely recommend this.
